An interesting activity is the Thanda Island Bird Walk, where you head through the bush behind the Villa and onto a white-sand trail to visit the white, grey and black Egrets that inhabit our private island. Thanda Island is an ideal home for them, with excellent fish, and they manage to hatch a great number of their delicate baby-blue eggs. At different times of the year you can watch them interacting with each other and with their young.
